Product Description
A genuinely beautiful old original "L Series" Fender Precision bass with original paintwork... extremely rare & hard to find in any condition but this one is in fantastic shape & sounds & plays (& sounds!) like a dream. The pots have been changed at some point but fortunately the previous owner kept all the original parts for it so it is complete apart from having a brass nut installed. It also has the original case though it is not serviceable so comes with a new (fibreglass) case as well as the original.

The date on this bass shows it was made the day after I was born. Does this mean I have a special connection with this bass and as such should buy it??

I have one of these basses, only it;s an L series 1964, are they really worth this much!!??

having had the privilege of setting this bass up and checking its authenticity, I could not resist putting it through the Ampeg 810 stack and VR head :))
the sound you hear on so many recordings, the classic 60's Jazz tone hit me in the guts.
I wonder if the boss will let me layby it for couple of years??

I saw this original 1963 L Series Fender Precision bass hanging on the wall in the bass section and one of Concept's awesome staff came over and asked if I wanted to have a play. He pluged it into a Mark Bass head and 112 cab and I think it was the best bass I have ever played! Thanks!!
