We kept the hand-rolled fingerboard edges, alnico V pickups and staggered tuning machines for playability, tone and stability. The American Standard Stratocaster has an alder body, modern C shape maple neck, 22 medium jumbo frets, 3 American Strat Single-Coil Pickups and includes a Fender/SKB hardcase. This one has the new 'Blizzard Pearl' finish. RR$1895

I have exactly the same model Jeff beck plays in the attached video. I've had many strats over the years starting way back in 71/72 and without a doubt this is the best strat I have ever, ever played. I was actually after a deluxe (hard to get) but settled on one of these and I'm just speechless. The quality and workmanship are superb.

Definately an improvement on the older model. I like the vintage bent steel style saddles they use on this current version.
