The JCM900 re-issue is a recreation of the popular Marshall head of the 90's. It features the 5881 power tube, which offers a slight variation on the traditional Marshall tone. It has two channels, a 4-band EQ and a series effects loop, giving you a wide range of classic tones.
Choose channel A for your clean sounds. It gives you a range from clean through to a more crunchy AC/DC-style tone. This is achieved via its own gain and volume controls.
Choose channel B for high gain sounds. Bass, treble, middle and presence controls are shared and each channel has its own master volume and reverb control. The front panel also sports a channel selector button and footswitch input.
Last but not least, you can run your effects pedals or 'vintage' rack (yes, a lot of us used Alesis Quadraverbs or Rocktron Intellifexes back in the day!) through the series effects loop.
