The Yamaha YFL-371 features a solid sliver head joint, open hole keys & an offset G key with split E mechanism... making it an obvious & ideal choice for the developing student.  The ring keys sound more open and also force the use of good technique as well as offering some special effects for the jazz enthusiast. The split E mechanism makes playing in tune in the upper register  much easier and the improved head joint design, coupled with solid silver construction, give it a much richer & darker tone than silver plate student models.
